High-Performing Volleyball Player

Yosbani (Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance) received rave reviews for his outstanding performance.

Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance won 3-2 (26-24, 25-22, 20-25, 23-25, 15-13) in the third round of the "2023-2024 Dodram V-League" against Woori Card at Jangchung Gymnasium in Seoul on the 12th.

Samsung had a hard time with Woori Card, which displayed organic play in the first set. The score widened to 17-11 as the gap widened from the middle of the set. Woori Card continued its flow and made set points 24-19.

Yosbani, however, has created a miracle. Yosbani attempted to serve at 24-20. Yosbani's powerful serve immediately moved to the court of Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, where Yosbani scored with a rear-guard attack. Yosbani's subsequent serve shook Woori Card's receiving line again, and Shin Jang-ho made a direct attack, making the score 24-22.

Yosbani's third serve, Shin Jang-ho, blocked Mattei's attack, and Yosbani made a deuce with an amazing serve ace. Yosbani's bombing continued. Yosbani immediately scored consecutive serve aces, completing the come-from-behind victory in the first set.

Samsung continued its winning momentum in the first set and won the second set as well. Although it won the fifth set after losing 3-4 sets, it only acquired two points. Nevertheless, it rose to second place with 25 points (10 wins and 5 losses) and narrowed the gap with Woori Card (31 points).

Yosbani achieved the triple crown with 39 points, the most by both teams. He laughed at Woori Card Mattei with four serves, four blocks and 14 rear-end attacks.

Coach Shin Young-chul of Woori Card gave a compliment to Yosbani after the game. "Yosbani can hit back-to-back hits when looking at the opponent's blocking. He is a good volleyball player. Matayi still needs time," he said. 스포츠중계

Manager Kim Sang-woo also recognized Yosbani's volleyball level. "The number of volleyball is high. He is a player with excellent technique," Kim Sang-woo said.

For Yosbani, the Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance Co. is the fourth team in the V League. Yosbani wore the uniform of OK Savings Bank in the 2018-2019 season, Hyundai Capital in the 2019-2020 season, and Korean Air in the 2020-2021 season. He was also selected by the Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance Co. as the No. 1 draft pick this season.

Yosbani, a "career job," was highly praised by men's coaches even before the draft and has continued to show off his skills since the opening, leading the revival of Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance's prestigious family.

"I feel great to win," Yosbani said. "I always try to take my time when serving. I also think about technical matters. It is helpful to maintain sense while scoring points one by one. I focused on my team's victory rather than the Triple Crown," he boasted of his leadership.
